VENDOR RULES & AGREEMENT

These rules are for all vendors, artists, and exhibitors at Wasatch Comic Con.
By participating in the event, you agree to the terms below.

 
Booths & Payments

Booth Information: Booths are limited, and the acceptance of any vendor is at the sole discretion of Wasatch Comic Con. Booth sizes and price will vary based on area of the convention. Below is the pricing and size for each style of booth.

Exhibit Hall:
Wall Corner Booth (10’x10’) $350
Wall Inline Booth (10’x10’) $300
Interior Corner Booth (10’x9’) $300
Interior Inline Booth (10’x9’) $250

Artist Alley/Dealer Tables:
Corner Booth (10’x6’) $200
Inline Booth (10’x6’) $150

Gaming Alley:
All Gaming Alley booths are against a wall.
Corner (10’x9’)$150
Inline (10’x9’) $100

No booth comes with a table. All vendors are required to bring their own tables. If you need a table, one can be rented from us for $50.

Power: If you need power, please specify that to us when submitting your payment. It may impact booth placement. There is also a refundable 50 dollar deposit for booths that use power predicated on the space being left complete when you pack out.  Booths with power are limited and are available on a FCFS basis.

Banner: All vendors must have a banner or sign stating the name of the vendor.

Payment: At least 50% of the booth space fee must be paid within 30 days of acceptance, or your booth may be sold to another creator. Can be paid via paypal to wasatchcon@gmail.com.  When paying via PayPal please include a note with your registered company name so we know where to apply the payments properly. The remaining half of the booth fee may be paid by the day of the event. If you choose to pay in full at the door, you will be charged an additional $50 late fee, must pay cash and your booth is not guaranteed. If paypal does not work for you, please contact us and we can arrange a different payment method. Please note that $15 of your booth fee will be donated to the AFSP to help in the fight against suicide.

Refunds: All booth fees are non-refundable after October 9, 2026.

Booth Sharing: Booth sharing is permitted, but Wasatch Comic Con is not responsible for any agreements between you and your partner. The person who signs this agreement is fully responsible for the booth.​​

 

Event Logistics & Responsibilities

Setup & Tear Down: Set up is available Thursday, November 12th upon special request, with regular setup from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, November 13th. You must be set up by 2 pm Friday, November 13th. Please let us know by at least November 1st if you require Thursday set up access so we can accommodate that request. The con will open officially at 2 pm on Friday, November 13th and 10 am Saturday, November 14th. However, we are in the middle of the mall and general mall traffic will be in starting at 10 am Friday, if you would like to set up early that is allowed. We can not guarantee any security at your booth during regular mall hours, so be prepared to have the booth manned during those hours if early set up is requested. The Con will close before the mall closes each day, if you would like to stay open during regular mall hours you are welcome to. However, security will only be provided during posted convention hours.

Deliveries: Please have all products delivered to your business before the show. We cannot accept deliveries at the event.

Legal & Tax Compliance:

  • All vendors must know and comply with all local, state, and federal laws.

  • Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax.

  • All sales are between you and your customers. Wasatch Comic Con is not involved in any transactions. Return policies must be posted at the booth and honored during the show. Vendors are allowed to require all sales to be final, but it must be clearly posted.

Security: While security will be on site during the event hours, it is the responsibility of the vendor to make sure their booth is properly staffed. Additional security is not provided after hours, and Wasatch Comic Con is not liable for any lost or stolen items or assets. We will provide locked and secure areas for all products to be stored, but the vendor is responsible for transport of the items to the secure area.

Receipts & Policies: You must issue receipts for all items sold, which should include your vendor name and contact information. You are also responsible for making your customers aware of your sales terms, guarantees, and return policies at the time of sale.

Liability: Wasatch Comic Con, its sponsors, Valley Fair Mall, and all employees will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your property under any circumstances.

Non-Compliance: Failure to abide by these rules will result in you forfeiting all fees paid and being asked to leave the event. Any removal due to policy violations will not result in a refund of booth fees or any other expenses.

Artist & Content Rules

AI-Generated Art: As a creator-focused convention, we do not allow the sale or display of AI-generated art. Our goal is to promote and support the work of human artists. All work sold at your booth must be original and created by you or your team, or original collectible art that was purchased from creators for resale.

Content: You are responsible for the content of your booth. Please ensure that all items and displays are appropriate for a family-friendly event. Any NSFW content must be censored. This includes any nudity or gore that is past a PG-13 level. This event is held in a public space with kids and family, any content that goes too far will not be able to be displayed. Please use your best judgment. Wasatch comic con reserves the right to require inappropriate pieces to be covered or removed at their discretion. Refusal to do so can result in removal of the vendor from the convention.

Profession Conduct: Please conduct yourself in a professional manner while on premise. If you are found to be disrespectful, unruly, or inappropriate you will be asked to leave. Harassment, discrimination, and any behavior that is ruled to be targeting or making any group of people to feel unwelcome or unsafe is not tolerated and may result in removal. Any violations of mall policy or the policies of any permanent mall retailers is not permitted and may result in removal. If any vendor, or those with them, exhibits behavior which results in expulsion from the mall their booth will be removed and no refunds will be given.
